How to Play Boundary Color Edge Blocks

Core rules, common block shapes, and practical strategies to help you clear the board faster.

Basic Rules

The board in Boundary Color Edge Blocks is made up of colored blocks fitted together, each marked with a directional arrow on its surface or edge. There's one rule: blocks that share a color and an arrow direction clear automatically once they're adjacent.

How a block moves depends on its arrow:

  • A block marked ▲ can only slide up.
  • A block marked ▼ can only slide down.
  • A block marked ◀ can only slide left.
  • A block marked ▶ can only slide right.
  • Some blocks carry a two-way arrow (such as ◀▶) and can slide in either direction along that axis.

Blocks aren't always simple squares — some are long bars spanning two or more cells, and others are L-shaped or T-shaped, covering an irregular footprint. When moving these, make sure every cell the block occupies is clear in the direction you're sliding.
